Terms & Conditions

Last updated: July 2026. These terms apply to all lessons and bookings made with My Tennis Ltd.

1. Bookings

  • All bookings must be made and paid for in advance through our online booking system.
  • A booking is only confirmed once payment has been successfully processed.
  • You will receive a confirmation email to the address provided at the time of booking.
  • It is your responsibility to ensure the details you provide — including name, contact information, and student details for junior bookings — are accurate.
  • By completing a booking you confirm that you are 18 or over, or that you are a parent or guardian booking on behalf of a junior.

2. Cancellations by the Customer

  • Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled lesson start time.
  • Cancellations made within 24 hours of the lesson are non-refundable.
  • To cancel, use the cancellation link in your confirmation email or contact us directly at [email protected].
  • For group lessons, refunds are calculated based on the final number of participants and are processed automatically the day before the lesson.
  • Refunds are returned to the original payment method and may take 3–5 business days to appear.

3. Cancellations by the Coach

  • In the unlikely event that a coach needs to cancel a session, we will endeavour to give you as much notice as possible — and at least 24 hours where circumstances allow.
  • You will be notified by email as soon as a cancellation is confirmed.
  • A full refund will be issued automatically to your original payment method within 3–5 business days.
  • We will make every reasonable effort to offer an alternative date or time where possible, though this cannot be guaranteed.
  • My Tennis accepts no liability for any costs incurred as a result of a coach cancellation, including travel or equipment costs.

4. Weather Policy

  • Lessons take place outdoors and will go ahead in all weather conditions unless it is unsafe to do so (e.g. lightning, severe wind, or a waterlogged court).
  • We encourage all participants to dress appropriately for the conditions — layers, waterproofs, and sun protection as needed.
  • If a session must be cancelled due to unsafe weather conditions, it will be treated as a coach cancellation and a full refund will be issued.
  • Rain alone is not grounds for cancellation — we play on!

5. Junior Safeguarding

  • All coaches working with juniors are Garda Vetted and hold a current Child Safeguarding certificate.
  • A parent or guardian must provide consent at the time of booking for any participant under 18.
  • Parents and guardians are welcome to remain on-site during junior sessions.
  • Any medical conditions or special requirements relevant to the student's participation must be disclosed at the time of booking.

6. Photography & Video

  • Photos and videos may be taken during sessions for use in promotional materials, including our website and social media channels.
  • By making a booking, you consent to this use unless you opt out at the time of booking using the option provided on the booking form.
  • If you opt out, no photos or videos of you or your child will be used for promotional purposes.
  • You may withdraw consent at any time by contacting us at [email protected]. We will remove any identifiable images upon request.
  • We will never sell or share images with third parties for commercial purposes.

7. Participation & Liability

  • Participation in tennis lessons involves physical activity and carries an inherent risk of injury. All participants take part at their own risk.
  • You are responsible for ensuring that you (or the junior you are booking for) are in suitable health to participate. If in doubt, please consult a medical professional before taking part.
  • Any known medical conditions, injuries, or physical limitations must be disclosed at the time of booking.
  • My Tennis, its coaches, and staff accept no liability for any injury, loss, or damage sustained during or as a result of participation in lessons, except where caused by our negligence.
  • Participants are responsible for their own equipment. My Tennis accepts no liability for loss or damage to personal property.

8. Code of Conduct

  • All participants are expected to behave respectfully towards coaches, other players, and any facilities used.
  • My Tennis reserves the right to refuse or terminate a session without refund if a participant's behaviour is deemed unsafe, disruptive, or disrespectful.
